The Friendly Pigeon
The humble pigeon is o'er-looked.
Ignored in a way most shameful.
All attention given to the swan.
The beautiful swan...
Which bites and hisses.
However, the pigeon earns my affection.
Genuine and true to self.
A sweet and honest soul,
With shiny eyed charm.
Though to me it's obvious,
To others its beauty is hidden.
Which means my attention is undivided.
You can keep your foul swan
I'd rather date the friendly pigeon.
