Safe and Sound

An illustration from my planned novel (currently at chapter five). This is taken from a scene towards the end after Wilson (The green engine) returns home to South Wales after visiting the Great Exhibition of 1924-5. After many painstaking negotiations, he managed to bring a friend home with him in the form of a North London Railway Class 1 4-4-0T suburban tank engine. Both are pictured at the works in the Garwynn Valley. I shan't disclose much more because a surprise that is ruined, is a boring one. (And no longer counts as a surprise)



All characters featured are mine and not to be used elsewhere without permission. They are OCs that I created by myself. So please no pairings or adventures to a certain small island railway located close to Barrow in Furness just yet please.
